- SPS-10: ten DC outputs across 9V, 12V and 18V, with cables and two polarity reversers in the box.
- SPS-20: the same ten DC outputs plus four AC sockets on top, rated up to 600W.
- STANDARD 15: a board with the supply built in, including a 9V 700mA output and USB.
- Every STRICH supply lists independent short-circuit protection on each port.
- Match current, not just voltage: digital pedals often want 300mA or more.

Daisy chains rarely manage all three.
STRICH sells two standalone supplies and one board with power built in. They share the same idea of per-port protection but differ in where the power lives and what else it feeds. Here is how they line up on paper, with the boards that carry them.
Our picks

STRICH SPS-10 Guitar Power Supply 10 Independent DC Output
The SPS-10 lists six 9V 100mA outputs, two 9V 500mA, one 12V 100mA and one 18V 100mA. Each port has independent short-circuit protection, so a fault on one channel leaves the others running. The box includes an 18V/1A adapter, ten DC cables and two polarity reversal cables, and the input accepts AC 100V-240V. The housing is heat-dissipating aluminum alloy with a noise filter.
- Complete cable kit in the box
- Two 500mA ports for digital pedals
- Blue LED flags a short
- 12V and 18V ports are 100mA each

STRICH SPS-20 10-Output Pedal Power Supply for 9V/12V/18V Guitar Pedal
The SPS-20 keeps the SPS-10's ten DC outputs and adds four double-ended AC socket holes on its top face. The listing says they pass the external voltage and withstand up to 600W, enough for an amp, a speaker or a charger. Each DC port uses individual positive supply control with noise reduction. Warranty is one year.
- Four AC sockets up top
- Isolated-style per-port control
- Same DC layout as the SPS-10
- Bigger job than a pedals-only board needs

STRICH Pedal Board with Built-in Power Supply
The STANDARD 15 pedalboard has its supply inside the frame. The listing gives seven 9V outputs (five 100mA, one 300mA, one 700mA), one 12V 500mA, one 18V 500mA and a USB 5V/800mA port, fed by a DC18V 2000mA adapter. Each channel has its own short-circuit protection. The whole board weighs 2.17 lb.
- Stronger 12V and 18V ports than the SPS units
- 700mA 9V output
- USB charging
- Fixed to a 15 x 11 inch deck

STRICH Guitar Pedal Board Aluminum Alloy 1.98lb Super Light Effect Pedalboard
The STANDARD 18 weighs 1.98 lb and stands 3.15 inches tall, with slots and channels for routing cables. It is sold without power, which makes it the natural home for an SPS-10. Strips, zip ties and a carry bag are included.
- Lightest STRICH board
- Cable channels
- Room under the deck
- Supply sold separately

STRICH Guitar Pedal Board Aluminum Alloy 2.65lb Lightweight Effect Pedalboard
The STANDARD 22 offers a 22 x 12.5 inch deck at 2.65 lb. Its listing mentions compatibility with accessories, and STRICH pairs it with an SPS supply underneath. With the SPS-20 below, the amp and tuner can share the AC sockets while pedals take the DC side.
- Largest deck
- Under three pounds
- Rugged carry case
- Supply sold separately
How the STRICH supplies compare
The SPS models share one DC layout. The STANDARD 15 changes the mix, trading two 9V ports for stronger 12V and 18V outputs and a USB port.

Total DC current on paper
Sum of listed outputs, excluding USB
Totals are simple sums of the listed ports. What matters more is whether each pedal gets a port that meets its own draw.
What to look for in the best pedal power supply
- Enough outputs. One port per pedal, plus a spare.
- The right voltages. Most pedals are 9V; some fuzzes, compressors and preamps want 12V or 18V.
- Current headroom. Read the mA on each pedal. Digital reverbs, loopers and multi-effects often need 300mA or more.
- Protection. Per-port short-circuit protection keeps the gig going if a cable fails.
- Polarity. Most pedals are center-negative; reversal cables handle the exceptions.
The Circle Loop, for example, asks for 9V at a minimum of 300mA, center-negative. That rules out the 100mA ports and points to a 500mA or 700mA output. See our Circle Loop review for wiring tips.
Which supply goes with which board?
Start with the board. If you pick the STANDARD 15, power is solved. For the STANDARD 18 or 22, choose between the SPS-10 and SPS-20 based on whether you want AC sockets on the board. Our pedalboard guide covers sizing, and the SPS-10 vs SPS-20 page settles the supply question.

How we picked
We compared the listed outputs, current per port, protection features and box contents of every STRICH power product. Boards made the list where the power choice depends on them. Nothing here is measured on a bench; every number is what the maker states.
FAQ
What is the best pedal power supply for a small board?
For four to six pedals, a board with power built in, like the STRICH STANDARD 15, avoids extra wiring. If you already own a board, the SPS-10 is the simpler add-on.
Is the SPS-10 isolated?
Each output has its own positive supply control and short-circuit protection. STRICH describes this as isolated outputs with noise reduction; it is a circuit-design approach rather than separate transformers per port.
Can a 100mA output power a digital delay?
Only if the pedal draws 100mA or less. Many digital pedals need more, so use a 500mA port on the SPS units or the 300mA or 700mA port on the STANDARD 15.
What do polarity reversal cables do?
They flip the center pin for the few pedals that use center-positive power. The SPS-10 includes two.
Do I need 18V for my pedals?
Only if a pedal is rated for it. Some overdrives and preamps gain headroom at 18V. Every STRICH supply has one 18V output.
Can I plug my amp into the SPS-20?
The listing says the four AC sockets on top pass the wall voltage and handle up to 600W, which covers many amps and speakers. Check your amp's rating first.
