About STRICH

STRICH makes the hardware around a guitar: aluminum pedalboards, ten-output power supplies, a looper with a drum machine, wall rails and walnut hangers, wooden floor stands, and one 88-key weighted digital piano. The twelve products in this catalogue are the range as sold in the United States.

The pieces are designed to fit each other. A board takes a supply, a supply covers every common pedal voltage, and the stands and mounts share the same padding rule.

Boards and power as one system

The three STANDARD boards are aluminum alloy with a slight incline, strips and zip ties, and a carry bag. The 22-inch board lists mounts for a power supply underneath, the 18-inch board lists cable channels, and the 15-inch board skips the question by building a ten-port supply into the frame, with a USB port for a phone.

The SPS-10 and SPS-20 supplies share ten DC outputs across 9V, 12V and 18V with short-circuit protection on each port and a blue LED that shows a fault. The SPS-20 adds four mains sockets on top. The isolation comes from circuit design rather than full electrical isolation, which is worth knowing before pairing digital and analog pedals.

What STRICH stands and mounts are made of

Wall mounts come as slatwall rails in aluminum alloy, 48.6 inches with five steel hangers or 80.5 inches with eight. Hangers rotate 360 degrees, angle 270 degrees left or right, wear rubber covers and lock with fixed clips. The three-pack of single hangers is black walnut with a pivoting, rubber-padded steel yoke that holds a guitar 3.5 inches off the wall.

Floor stands are wood. The L-3AW is a tiered plywood stand for three guitars with EVA pads; the SMT-10 is treated solid wood for six electrics or four acoustics, with a triangular base and 5mm felt that is safe for nitrocellulose. Both assemble with the parts in the box.

Choosing by counting

Pedals first: four to six fit the STANDARD 15, up to about eight the 18, more than that the 22. Voltages next: if anything needs 12V or 18V, either SPS supply covers it, and if the amp should plug in on the board, the SPS-20. Guitars last: one to three go on walnut hangers or the L-3AW, four or five on the walnut-grain rail or the SMT-10, six to eight on the long rail.

The Circle Loop and the SDP-120 piano sit outside that arithmetic. The looper replaces a drummer for practice; the piano is a complete instrument with weighted keys, 30 watts of speakers, a sustain pedal and a stand, and it is the one product here that is not about guitars at all.
