- STANDARD 15 is the only STRICH board with a power supply built into the frame, at 15 x 11 inches and 2.17 lb.
- STANDARD 18 is the lightest of the three at 1.98 lb, with cable channels for a mid-size rig.
- STANDARD 22 gives a full second row at 22 x 12.5 inches and still weighs 2.65 lb.
- The 18 and 22 need a separate supply; the SPS-10 covers 9V, 12V and 18V pedals on ten outputs.
- Count pedals first: four to six, up to about eight, or more than eight.

Our picks

STRICH Pedal Board with Built-in Power Supply
The STANDARD 15 builds a ten-port power supply into its aluminum frame, so there is nothing to mount underneath. The listing gives seven 9V outputs (five at 100mA, one at 300mA, one at 700mA), one 12V 500mA and one 18V 500mA, each with its own short-circuit protection. A USB 5V/800mA port charges a phone, and pedal cables, a bag and hook-and-loop strips come in the box. It measures 15 x 11 inches and weighs 2.17 lb.
- Power built in, no wiring under the board
- USB port for a phone or wireless unit
- A 700mA 9V output for a hungry digital pedal
- Smallest surface of the three
- Power is fixed to the board, not movable to another rig

STRICH Guitar Pedal Board Aluminum Alloy 1.98lb Super Light Effect Pedalboard
At 1.98 lb, the STANDARD 18 is the lightest board in the range despite its 18 x 12.5 inch deck. The listing calls out multiple slots and channels for routing cables, which keeps patch cables off the top surface. Strips, zip ties and a carry bag are included, and the slight incline puts the back row within reach. It takes a separate supply underneath.
- Under two pounds
- Cable channels for tidy routing
- Height of 3.15 inches leaves room for a supply below
- No power supply included

STRICH Guitar Pedal Board Aluminum Alloy 2.65lb Lightweight Effect Pedalboard
The STANDARD 22 is the largest STRICH board at 22 x 12.5 x 3.15 inches, enough for a full second row. It still weighs only 2.65 lb according to the listing, and it ships with a rugged carry case, strips and zip ties. The maker states it is compatible with accessories, and the brand pairs it with an SPS supply mounted under the deck.
- Largest deck in the range
- Still under three pounds
- Room under the deck for an SPS supply
- Needs a separate supply
- More board than a small rig needs

STRICH SPS-10 Guitar Power Supply 10 Independent DC Output
The SPS-10 gives ten outputs: six 9V 100mA, two 9V 500mA, one 12V 100mA and one 18V 100mA. Each output has independent short-circuit protection, and a blue LED shows a fault. The box includes an 18V/1A adapter, ten DC cables and two polarity reversal cables, so it is ready to wire on day one.
- Cables and reversers included
- Covers 9V, 12V and 18V pedals
- AC 100V-240V input
- The 12V and 18V outputs are 100mA each

STRICH SPS-20 10-Output Pedal Power Supply for 9V/12V/18V Guitar Pedal
The SPS-20 shares the SPS-10's ten DC outputs but adds four AC socket holes on its top face that pass mains voltage at up to 600W. That lets an amp, tuner or speaker plug in at the board. It uses an aluminum housing with a noise filter and carries a one-year warranty, per the listing.
- Four AC sockets on top
- Same ten DC outputs as the SPS-10
- One-year warranty
- Listing does not detail which cables are in the box

STRICH Circle Loop 2-in-1 Drum Machine & Stereo Looper Pedal for Guitar
The Circle Loop combines a stereo looper and drum machine in one housing. The listing gives 40 loop slots of up to four minutes each and 100 drum patterns across ten styles. It needs a 9V, 300mA minimum, center-negative supply, so run it from a 500mA output on an SPS or the 700mA output on the STANDARD 15.
- Looper and drums in one footprint
- 160 minutes of total loop storage
- 24-bit/44.1kHz audio
- No battery compartment and no adapter in the box
STRICH pedalboards compared side by side
All three boards are aluminum alloy with a slight incline, hook-and-loop strips, zip ties and a bag. The difference is size and power.

Board weight
From STRICH listings
The STANDARD 15 is smaller than the 18 yet heavier, because the power supply lives inside its frame. Add an SPS supply to the 18 and the totals swap. You can see the full lineup in the comparison table on the home page.
How to choose the best guitar pedalboard size
Lay your pedals on the floor in playing order and measure the rectangle they make. Add an inch between each pedal for jacks and your foot. That outline is the minimum deck you need.
- Count pedals. Four to six fit a 15-inch deck, up to about eight fit 18 inches, more than that wants 22.
- Check the tallest pedal. Wah and volume pedals usually go on the front row of an angled board.
- List voltages. Any 12V or 18V pedal needs a supply that offers those outputs.
- Add current. Digital delays and reverbs often draw 300mA or more; check each pedal's label.
- Leave a gap. One empty slot saves you a rebuild when the next pedal arrives.
If power is the deciding factor, our pedal power supply guide goes deeper on outputs and current.
Built-in power or a separate supply?
A board with built-in power, like the STANDARD 15, saves setup time. There is no supply to bolt underneath and fewer cables to lose. The trade-off is that the supply stays with that board if you upgrade later.
A separate SPS supply moves with you. Start on the STANDARD 18, outgrow it, and move the same SPS-10 under a STANDARD 22. We break this down in detail in the STANDARD 15 review and the SPS-10 vs SPS-20 comparison.

Check price →How we picked
We read every STRICH listing for deck size, weight, included hardware and power specs, then grouped the boards by the rig size they suit on paper. Supplies made the list because the 18 and 22 are sold without power. The looper earned a spot as a practical first pedal that matches the boards' power outputs.
We did not rank by price, since prices change, and we did not invent ratings. Every spec quoted is what the maker's listing states.
FAQ
What is the best guitar pedalboard for beginners?
For four to six pedals, the STRICH STANDARD 15 is the simplest start because the power supply is built in. You mount pedals, plug in the included cables and play.
How many pedals fit on an 18-inch pedalboard?
Usually six to eight standard-size pedals, depending on how many are wide units like a wah or a dual delay.
Do STRICH pedalboards come with a power supply?
Only the STANDARD 15 does. The STANDARD 18 and 22 are sold without one and pair with the SPS-10 or SPS-20.
Are aluminum pedalboards better than wood?
Aluminum keeps weight low; the STRICH boards weigh 1.98 to 2.65 lb. The listings also state the frames do not bend or warp.
Can I mount a power supply under the STANDARD 22?
Yes. The board is 3.15 inches tall and STRICH pairs it with an SPS supply mounted underneath.
Is an angled pedalboard worth it?
An incline raises the back row so you can reach it without stepping on the front pedals. All three STANDARD boards are angled.
